A Writing Retreat organised by the College of Medical Educationists, Sri Lanka, was held on 4th and 5th February 2019 at Matara. It was participated by 11 members of the college who have completed research projects in medical education up to the stage of writing manuscripts. The participants appreciated the protected time they had and they felt that they made a substantial progress in their respective manuscripts over the two days. Most of them are hoping to send their manuscripts to leading journals in medical education.

Improving research output of medical educationists in Sri Lanka was one of the key goals of the College of Medical Educationists in Sri Lanka.
